Doing Good Is Everybody’s Business: A Special Evening with Dorri McWhorter, CEO, YWCA Metropolitan Chicago

Join the Kellogg Executive Women’s Network for an extraordinary opportunity to engage with the well-known business and civic leader, Dorri McWhorter, CEO of YWCA Metropolitan Chicago. Dorri McWhorter is a Kellogg alumna who knows firsthand that businesses can “do well by doing good”. As an evangelist for going beyond corporate social responsibility, she has shared her inspiring message to a broad audience of women and men through keynote speeches, newspaper and magazine interviews and most recently a TEDx Chicago Talk. Innovator, community leader, and CPA, she challenges business to be socially responsible and nonprofits to embrace the digital age to create a more sustainable business model. Her unique approach to leadership starts with two words - “we” and “purpose”.

As a transformative leader, she has embarked on a mission to move YWCA Metropolitan Chicago into the 21st century. She believes that a significant aspect of this transformation is to empower women and girls by providing them with the tech skills they need to excel in the digital world. The YWCA will accomplish this by offering innovative programs that will transform their lives and society as well.
