The Kellogg Alumni Club of Chicago invites you to an outstanding gathering of international leaders who will share their global experiences and thoughts on leadership, including how to use leadership to build sustainable enterprises, managing change and driving performance, and what is required as a leader to succeed in an increasingly complex world. Professor Harry Kramer '79 will lead and frame the leadership discussion and will bring his perspective based on his new book, "Becoming the Best: Build a World-Class Organization Through Values-Based Leadership."  Copies of the book will be available for purchase.  All proceeds are donated to the One Acre Fund, a Kenya-based non-profit dedicated to helping small farmers improve their harvests in order to eradicate poverty and hunger within their local communities.

Speaker bios:

Kelly Grier is Vice Chair, Central Region Managing Partner of EY. Grier leads the firm’s practice across 15 states, 17 offices and approximately 8,000 people, supporting EY’s momentum in the Midwest market, attracting top talent, and increasing engagement and retention.


Grier is a member of the EY Americas Executive Board and the US Executive Board and is a member of the Global Practice Group and Global Talent Executive. She has 24 years of experience serving primarily Fortune 500 global companies and has extensive international experience.

Mauricio Graber '89 is President of the Flavour Division at Givaudan, a Swiss listed company with $5 billion in global sales and the world leader in the Flavour and Fragrance Industry.  He began his career with Givaudan in 1995 and held positions of increasing responsibility in the sales and marketing organization before becoming Vice-President for Latin America in 2000. He was later appointed President of the Flavour Division in 2006. 


During his career with Givaudan, Mauricio has also led global projects in diverse areas ranging from value based pricing, to employee diversity, and sustainable development.  Throughout his global career he has managed business in the US, Latin America, Europe and Asia.

Luca Mignini '04 was named President-Global Biscuits and Snacks of Campbell Soup Company in February 2015. He reports to Denise Morrison, President and Chief Executive Officer, and is a member of the Campbell Leadership Team.

Luca directs Campbell’s integrated global biscuits and snacks portfolio, including the Pepperidge Farm, Arnott's, and Kelsen businesses. He is also responsible for the operation and management of the company's simple meals and beverage businesses in Asia Pacific and Asia, including soup and broth business in Hong Kong and China, and the Pepperidge Farm U.S. bakery business.


Harry M. Jansen Kraemer, Jr. '79 is an executive partner with Madison Dearborn Partners, a private equity firm based in Chicago, Illinois and a Clinical Professor of Strategy at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. He was named the 2008 Kellogg School Professor of the Year. Harry is the author of two bestselling leadership books: "From Values to Action: The Four Principles of Values-Based Leadership" and "Becoming The Best: Build a World-Class Organization Through Values-Based Leadership".


He is the former chairman and chief executive officer of Baxter International Inc., a $12 billion global healthcare company. He became Baxter's chief executive officer in January 1999, and assumed the additional responsibility of chairman of Baxter's board of directors in January 2000.

For the second summer in a row, join the Kellogg Alumni Club of Chicago for a Sunset Sail on Lake Michigan on the Red Witch Tall Ship, an authentic wooden schooner.

Pack a picnic or bring a bottle of wine to enjoy while checking out the breathtaking Chicago skyline.  The boat is located in Burnham Harbor just east of Solider Field. We will meet you at the gate to “J” dock.  Bring your own beer (cans only) or bottle of wine.  No hard liquor is allowed on-board. Guests are invited to attend with you as well.
