Elaine Russell '09 launched Chicago-based online store Heirlume in late 2013 to help men buy fine jewelry for women.  As business surged, Elaine revised her strategy and hired Danielle Langone, a former political marketing and public relations consultant, to replace her as CEO.  In this Chicago Blue Sky feature, Elaine explains why sometimes the best person to take a startup to the next stage isn't the founder.
