Last week, I met with an alumna of our Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences program in the Feinberg_School_of_Medicine. She earned her Master of Physical Therapy in 1992, making her a member of the first class of graduates to earn that Master's degree from Northwestern. Talking with her offered a great, personal view of the evolving physical_therapy program at Northwestern. What began as a certificate program that was first accredited in 1928 has since evolved to offer a Bachelor of Science in PT degree, a Master of Physical Therapy degree, and now a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, which is completed over 8 trimesters. The alumna I spoke with loved her time at Northwestern and was proud of how her alma mater has continued to grow to educate the next generation of Northwestern Physical Therapists.
